College of Veterinary Medicine
Education on Veterinary Medicine at Cornell dates back to its origin in 1868, when Dr. James Law a distinguished Scottish veterinarian received the first group of aspiring veterinarians. Over the years, the College has accumulated one of the most international diverse faculty of any other College in the United States. This fact has led to numerous international contacts and collaborations at the level of individual faculty members, as well as to a few College-wide agreements with foreign institutions. The College has an active program to support international experiences for veterinary students.
