Cornell University's International Gateway

About this Site

Cornell University has rich and complex international dimensions that span the entire campus and reach into every college and school. The International Gateway has been created to highlight these dimensions, opening the door for users to discover the enormous breadth and depth of Cornell’s international involvement both in countries around the world and at home on its Ithaca and New York City campuses. The Gateway allows members of the campus community, researchers around the world, prospective students and scholars, as well as users from business, education, government, the media, and the general public to reflect on the University’s international history, understand its international mission in the 21st century, and explore why Cornell is renowned for its excellence in international studies.

As Cornell strengthens its ties to universities around the world and increases the number of international resources and activities on its campuses, there has never been a greater need for an International Gateway. Sponsored and coordinated by the Mario Einaudi Center for International Studies, this project has drawn active campus-wide participation. What the Gateway reveals is that Cornell’s international involvement is no less diverse than Cornell itself.

As you browser the Gateway, we encourage you to leave feedback or contribute to this growing resource.
